Jon Gosselin on Insider Panel to Discuss Top Celeb News

The Insider panel discussion tonight features Lara Spencer, Chris Jacobs, Donny Osmond, Bethany Frankel, and Jon Gosselin. It's a strange set of bedfellows made stranger by the discussion of David Letterman's public apology and his continued joking about his personal situation.
Donny Osmond is upset with how David Letterman is continuing to discuss it publicly and joke about it. Bethany and Donny both agree that David should stop talking about it and keep his personal matters private. While all of this banter is going on, Jon Gosselin sits on the panel looking like a deer in headlights.
Donny sums it up as, "It's all down to money and ratings. Greed."
The next topic switches to the Gosselin family and a recent photos of a nanny yelling at the kids. Donny asked Jon the last time he had talked with his children and how they are doing. Jon said he had talked with them the day before. Donny seemed bent on interrogating him about why the Gosselin family is self-destructing.
Chris Jacobs asks Jon, "Any normal parent would go 'I got to get home'. What are you feeling?" Jon said that he couldn't go home because it's Kate's custody day. Jacobs continue to strong-arm Jon by stating, "There are emotions in this picture and you seem pretty unemotional about it."
Donny continued to lecture Jon on children needing both a mother and father. Jon responded by talking about how Kate acts and Donny said, "So it's all Kate's fault?" The conversation stalled out after this with Jon clearly tense and upset by his appearance.
The show gave him a breather for a minutes to discuss other top stories. However, they brought the conversation back to the Gosslin family.
Jon gave a televised message to his kids telling them that he's sorry he can't be there and that he's looking forward to seeing them soon. He also brought proof to defend that he didn't steal any money. Bethany attacked him by asking why Jon and Kate feel the need to discuss their private matters in public. Jon became hot angry and ranted about his family woes.
In another segment, the panel includes Jon Gosselin's lawyer and pitbull Nancy Grace is also on the panel. Nancy Grace goes after Jon in a way that only Nancy Grace can do. The video is available on CNN.
I guess one shouldn't take every TV publicity stint offered to them. Jon just doesn't come off well on TV.
Seriously. Enough already. Please make the Gosselin saga end. Take it off TV. Give us all a break.
Thoughts? Am I the only one who finds the public Gosselin meltdown uncomfortable and inappropriate? Kate and Jon need to stop publicizing all of their issues.
