Color and Mood

Have you ever looked at a painting and said, "Wow, I love the mood of that painting?" I do it a lot, it is what draws me in. Without a certain mood I feel that a painting is just a copy of something in real life. The mood is what evokes emotion from the viewer.

The new article on the site, Lessons from the Wyeths, takes a look at how mood is effected by color. It also has links to the art of the fabulous Wyeth family art.

Take a look, I'm sure you'll find the article helpful to your own art.
