Continuing Ed and Enrichment

Greetings, and welcome to my first Blog for Suite101.com Continuing Education!

As a lifelong learner and lover of education, I look forward to exploring the countless topics involved with Continuing Ed. I have attended an accredited trade school, brick-and-mortar institution, and an online university, from which I will attain my Bachelor of Arts in English in May. I have also taken classes in stained glass, wreath-making, and real estate, among other things! I sincerely hope that you will return here to share your thoughts freely and often. My first article on Enrichment Classes will post this week - be sure to stop back and check it out.

The topic of Continuing Education involves much more than just adults enrolling for night classes at the local community college. The face of Adult Ed has changed dramatically in recent years, as colleges all over the country now offer on-line courses and degrees. If you are currently taking classes or are considering it, I’d love to hear from you about what your hopes, fears, concerns, or questions may be, whether it has to do with computer use, time management, degree focus, or money. You can be pretty sure that if it’s a concern for you, you aren’t alone!
