Australian Literature
Australian Literature
With only a little over 200 years of written literary tradition, Australia and New Zealand nevertheless yield a compelling range of talented writers across a variety of genres. From stories told by the first European settlers to modern contemporary fiction, Australian Literature highlights this diversity with a selection of modern authors, classic literature and author interviews.
Indigenous writers are also featured, noting Australian Aboriginal and New Zealand Maori writers sharing their traditional culture with readers as well as those making significant contributions to the general literary wealth of their respective countries.
