You had to buy ice every few days and as it melted, the water dripped into a pan which had to be constantly emptied and heaven forbid that you didn't or you had a big wet mess on the floor to clean up. Now even the messiest, dirtiest fridge is easier to clean and keep clean so what are you waiting for? Oh and don't forget the one thing that is almost mandatory. You have to make soup with all those left over little bits of this and that. That is if the little bits of this and that are still recognizable.

Being organized doesn't mean being perfect. Spices lined up in alphabetical order (although I confess to a leaning in this direction) everything spotless and in its place. How restricting not to mention boring! No folks, I am a firm believer in being organized but in ways that compliment your personality and lifestyle.
