Philosophy 101

The Apple and the Worm, The Body and Dust
This article will be considered, well, a bit dark at first. Nevertheless it is thoughts, which bisects the mind of a philosopher quite often. Unlike a lot of conventional people, it does not take a measurable incidence to invoke such thoughts within the turbulent mind of an inquisitor.
The Season for Giving; The Social Clause
Christmas, the time when the family gathers around a fireplace, children run around in anticipation of Santa’s midnight visit, and mom and dad smile over a well established holiday from the grind of everyday life. Ahhhh, Christmas.
Passion, And Prejudice; Vengeance, And Justice
So you are an opponent to Capital punishment. You state that life is sacred, and not only is Capital punishment immoral revenge; but it is also a barbaric, racist, and an antagonistic method of (so called) justice....Okay, let us break this down. For, I am not an unbending proponent. With a logical move, I could be persuaded to support a possibility of no Capital punishment. However, I will state that I have yet - in many arguments - to recognize a logical position on avulsion.
The Institution of Marriage - A True Ball and Chain
Because marriage is the "LAW," and because so much is intertwined in marriage: estates, social security, retirements, insurance and on and on - it would be hopeless to think it will ever change. I know a lot of people that have been living without a marriage license for many years, which have now had to go and get married because of health problems, going into a nursing home, getting social security, giving money to children in their will. So, although I thoroughly loathe the precept of marriage - the almighty government has us by the proverbial "balls." However, it is still a grand thing to point it out!
From The Womb Of Honor To The Grave Of Derision
The question of this Republic's resolve has always been in question since the Cold War began in 1948. For three generations now, we Americans have been driven by uncertainty and fear. Well, the indications are as such... Now that resolve has been straightforwardly attacked! Without hesitation the majority jumped in, and assisted fellow Americans to begin the defense of our sovereignty. Notwithstanding, with the general reaction over, will our resolve as a whole fade in the tears of over emotional posturing? Will our tenacity liquefy in all the dramatization of "healing?"
Cry for the Rebirth of Unity
A special article dedicated to the resolve of what it means to be an American, and why it is necessary to maintain a sense of vigilance and dignity.
Millennium on the Flip Side: Twenty-First Century Man
...In the United States, we are taught world history as a method of studying the collage of cultures within our nation. Very few nations do this openly, but there is a degree of such. Even in the harshest of tyrannies (i.e. China). However, for some time now I have wondered why the latest insights to modern and ancient history have been very reveling in its honesty. I recall never being this interested in history? Let alone the immense information out there on the subject. Then I recalled my school years. The boring memorization of dates. The lethargic interest by my teachers. Furthermore, the apathetic textbooks. I began to realize that my new found interest was do to the fact there was something to be interested in! History out side the classroom is complete...
The Human Race; Satin Sheet Villains
Have you ever wondered why you had that feeling of guilt after your first sexual encounter with your girl friend, boy friend, fiancée? I’m speaking to those few out there who spend a little time attempting to understand a potential partner, before jumping into bed with them. Not you whom feel your entire video collection should be categorized: blond, brunet, red-head, and you feel your sex life makes you an equal opportunity lover. All though, you can read and consider! Anyhow, Where do you suppose that guilty feeling sprang from? You took you time with this person, you feel as though you know them, and you wish to step up the relationship. Yet, you took that step, and some how there is a small, yet distinctive, uncertainty hanging about. It’s not a violation of your duty to God. Nor, is it a violation of some oath-pact with your family. Your sexual encounter is not undignified. Yet, that is what you grew up being told. You grew up being pushed from two different directions. Your nature vs. your conscience. Have you chosen sides yet? Or, are you like me, whom seems to think the fight is instigated?
Defamation Of The Intellectual Man
In today’s society intelligence is defined as how well a person conforms to social directives. Plus, how well one takes an active role in the implementation of what a media driven society defines. Anyone, who steps aside, reasons each, and every aspect of an issue, is considered a social heretic. I would be one of those heretics. For I do not take to what is. I derive for myself the truth of our nature. I reason out the long term results of actions. Vilification is my reward for my social insolence. It is, without doubt, a great honor!
A Declaration of War; By My Brethren You
At times I grow tired of the rhetoric, which spews across my television. At first it was just the news. Something I could ignore, skip that channel. Now it bleeds through to sitcoms, and public television. The ideologies of politically correct inferior minds are saturating the visual air ways. The thing about this is not simply the politics of it all. The issue is based on the whole concept of fear. I don’t think these people are simply political. I think these curtain - I dislike to call it philosophy for I think it inferior - uhm, theorist, are so religiously consumed with this wayward judgment, that I have to treat it as a philosophical enemy, as well as ideological one. There are certain groups whom carry an animosity towards growth of the human conscience. Whether they are religious, or political, or what ever. They use fear to inhibit this growth. Taking away the desire to use Free Will. Here I have made some bold declarations about some of the most media "popular" groups in America today. But, if one is to provoke thought, one must provoke the thinker.
What Is It To Suffer
In religions all over this world there are certain basics which guide them all. The most important is that of suffering. To reach the heights of God you must first reach the depths of Hell. I do not believe this. As a matter of fact, I find this notion completely insulting! Both to me, and especially to God. If one wishes to walk a path of suffering to feel worthy of God, then no one has a legitimacy to call me negative.
Our Machiavellian Rights, and The Liberties They Betray
As we are all aware Machiavellianism is a political art, most construed in a repose, and deceit like mannerism. We as a society have allowed this kind dishonesty to teach us selfishness is a Right, and Liberties are overabundantly worth giving up. I’m here to say that Liberties are all we have! And that ‘rights,’ don’t even exist!
Lost Liberty, Lost Humanity
Even with the technological growth, and the wealth it brings. We are still able to stumble and fall on our core beliefs which grant us the liberties to strive harder, and further. There is no government strong enough. No community large enough. Which can protect all things. If we become too comfortable with the bliss of today’s growing ignorance, towards the life we have taken as a "RIGHT", then we are no more powerful, and more and more insubstantial, than any petty third world nation. Who just maybe the one to take us down.
Ignorance Is The Devil’s Playground
A look at what role ignorance plays in the ideals we are taught.
