Lizards, Turtles & Snakes

Mali Uromastyx: The Last Waltz for Lizards, Turtles and Snakes, oh my!
I gave up my living room and dining room long ago to allow for a comfortable environment for the zoo which lives here – we even eat with the turtles beside us in their indoor pond. We have a condo of home built tanks for the lizards – and the top tank contains a couple you’ve never heard about before from me: Harley and Quinn –Mali Uromastyx; Mali Extraordinaire.
Decisions
A lizard’s world is small and expectations match its environment. In the case of Inland Bearded Dragons, of which there are many sub species, we are talking about needs that they all require. All a lizard needs is a very warm environment with a sandy bed, a cool area to control its lack of warm blooded body regulation, edible food consisting of mostly veggies with added protein (preferably live) and limited water. Add in a few logs to climb and the lizard is in nirvana!

Review of SuiteU Course - Ecological Gardening: Organics and Beyond
Take a quick tour of SuiteU Environment School Course - Ecological Gardening: Organics and Beyond. One of the reasons I started writing for the Suite in the Environment Community was I did not just want to talk about the care and feeding/breeding of lizards (which would put this Topic in Pets), but of their environment and behaviour and its effect on us and our environment. Suite101 has an excellent Environment Community, and this also reaches into SuiteU. As I expand my own limited horizon, I have been sampling the courses in the School of Environment, and want to share with you my revelations.
We hardly knew you, Lt. Jackson
Never give up, no matter what the odds. That even when you don’t look like the others, it doesn’t matter because you can handle your own. That a deformity is in the eye of the beholder, and it never held you back – you taught us how to take a supposed obstacle and turn it into an advantage.
