A History of US
I absolutely adored this series of books, as have everyone I've talked with. They have a level of enjoyment that isn't often found in a history text but a depth and level of honesty that is almost unheard of. These books are a great value and an exceptional total U.S. History curriculum for all ages and stages, including adults.

Math Wizardry For Kids / Science Wizardry For Kids
These books are such a fun resource for any math and science curriculum. They could probably be used as curriculum, alone, very successfully. Factor Frenzy
Even with a few functional flaws, this math game is well worth the money spent on it. It is fun, draws out a child's competitive spirit, throws in a little strategy and is the first game I have found that truly motivates all my different types of learners to memorize their multiplication and division tables.

Homeschooling for Dummies
This was a pretty good read - fast, easy to use, full of tips and personal accounts. But it was also lacking, overall. I would recommend it for those considering homeschooling or new to homeschooling but for those who are veteran homeschoolers, it is also a worthy read. However if you aren't fresh to the world of homeschooling, you might be better served by checking this one out from the local library.
If you are new to homeschooling, you will gain a lot of helpful and supportive information and insights in this book.

Lewis And Clark: Hands On Art/English Activities
If your child loves art and being creative and you struggle to find a way to incorporate history, geography, English, vocabulary, and science in interesting ways, you will absolutely love Visual Manna's Lewis and Clark. It reads almost like a unit study but with a heavy emphasis on art and a curiously sneaky way of fitting in all the other "stuff" so that, in the end, your child has learned a whole lot in a wide variety of academic areas while having a darned good time!

Goodnight Baxter
This book is affordable for a hard-cover), it is enjoyable for all ages – both the reader and listener, it is entertainingly illustrated and makes a great bed-time story. Although the recommended age for this book is 4-8, I also recommend this group for the younger crowd – my one year old can’t get enough of it! I highly recommend this book for emergent readers – especially those with younger siblings who will absolutely love being read this story again and again.

This is a great addition to your ordinary math curriculum. It is also a great tool for unschoolers to have at hand. The cost is a little steep for what you get, but the backpack is cool, the blocks are great for kinesthetic learners and the ideas span 7 grades. This is definitely something we will hang on to and pull out over the years.

Singapore Math: Primary Mathematics
If you are afraid to teach your child math and did not do well yourself, this program will teach you, too! It introduces math in a way that isn’t traditional in the US and results in children who really think and understand math without any of the drill work or repetition that turns so many of us off to math. Those who start with Singapore Math in the early years seem to have better luck with it and some require hands-on supplements or drill-work supplements but I consider Singapore Math: Primary Mathematics to be an innovative and successful complete math curriculum
