If herbs are treated with the respect they deserve, they can restore something of the natural balance of life to our youngsters, and give them the start in life they were designed for. And, on the principle that Mother Nature knows best, that can only be a good thing.

Suppliers
You can get herbal supplements very easily from a number of sources these days: a few are listed above, or you could try some of the following:

Hy Gain Feeds from Australia is one of the few companies offering a formulation specifically for young horses, "Equiherb Foundation".

Brookby Herbs is a New Zealand firm providing herbal horse care products; their website includes online ordering with a handy currency converter.

If you're ordering from the US, Le Melange offers a good range of horse herbal supplements.

Or you could try SP Equine Health and Herbal , a group of companies dedicated to herbal remedies. All herbs they use are grown organically and come from renewable sources.

And another useful site is Horse Feeds UK, which provides info about feed suppliers and herbal supplement sources across the UK. This includes Dodson & Horrell, who do a particularly good herbal range.
