Young at Art Recap

Feb 1, 2005 - © Traute Klein, biogardener

On New Year's Day 2005, I created a fun dialogue based on the titles of all the articles from this Young at Art topic. At the bottom of this page are links to all other Suite101 articles written in this style with a synopsis of each, so you can decide which ones would be the most fun to read.

Let's Party

Let's have a Pumpkin Party.

What's that?

That's Hallowe'en Art for the Young at Heart.

What are you going to wear to the party?

My Red Sunflower dress will do fine, because it has a Splash of Autumn Color.

What are we going to eat?

Well, I have already had A Taste of Chicken Soup Stories.

So what else?

Easter Eggs, Naturally.

Oh boy, at Hallowe'en? That's creative.

Of course, I was Born to Be an Artist.

Okay, okay, just Don't Waste Your Talents.

Thank you.

So what are we going to play?

How about "Creative Words 2004?"

But I only know the Creative Words 2003 Answers.

Well, we already played the Creative Words 2003 game last year.

I think I am going to cry.

That's all right. Here's my Silky Recycler Valentine hanky so you can wipe the tears from your eyes.

Let's party!

Creative Challenge

Writing a story or poem using a set of prescribed phrases is a challenge but lots of fun. At the end of the year, we Suite101 writers like to challenge ourselves to use all the titles of the past year's articles in a story. Some people manage to write serious stories. I am not one of them. Mine tend to be funny. The first time I wrote this kind of story, I had been sick with the flu and all my thinking turned hilarious because I had a high temperature. That article is linked below, and in it I have linked 13 other articles written by others in the same year.
