Yoga to Light up your Love Life, Pt. 1

Having a healthy body and a calm peace of mind in themselves can make your romantic life more, well, romantic. But yoga can be used in the bedroom as well as out of the bedroom to make your love life stronger and more intense. The following are techniques you can use with your loved one to heat up your nights.

Begin by kneeling facing each other, with your knees just touching. Join hands, and take a long time to just look at the one you love. Gaze into their eyes, and admire how beautiful they are, inside and out. Remind yourself of each and every thing you love about them, every special quality that makes them unique. Allow all thoughts of yourself to fade away, and immerse yourself in the beauty of their being. Allow their aura, and soul, to touch you and envelop you completely as you give thanks for having the gift of such a wonderful person to love.

Next, stand, still holding hands, and allow your lover to embrace you completely. Allow yourself to lean completely against them in trust and in love. Allow them to wrap their arms around you, and feel the love they have for you. Close your eyes, and concentrate on the love you feel pouring into you from your lover.

Finally, return the favor. Embrace your love in your arms, and open your heart. Send them waves of your love and caring for them to pour out of you, and create a womb of protection and comfort envelop your love.

Obviously, there is no time limit for this exercise, and I recommend keeping any clocks far out of sight. So often we get caught up in the hurly-burly of everyday life and forget to take the time to truly appreciate how loved we are - and how we love the special someone in our lives.
