Teacher's Pet by Francine Pascal is the second book in the series, Sweet Valley Twins. You will enjoy reading about Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield, who are identical twins.

In the last book, the girls were preparing for their ballet class and their auditions for a major role in the recital they were going to have. Jessica and Elizabeth both wanted the part. Jessica had a difficult time because her ballet teacher didn't seem to notice her.

In this book, Teacher's Pet, Jessica was upset because she told Elizabeth that she was the Teacher's Pet. Jessica believed that their teacher liked Elizabeth more than she did her. This caused problems for Jessica.

On Saturday, their ballet teacher called and talked to Jessica. She changed the practice to 11:00 that morning. Jessica was happy because Elizabeth wasn't going to be there. She went shopping with her mother. Jessica knew that she couldn't possibly be back in time for the audition. Jessica didn't want to leave a note for Elizabeth about the audition because she knew she wouldn't get back in time. However, she decided to do it anyhow. When the audition was almost over, Jessica was shocked. Elizabeth entered the room. She was happy that Jessica had left the note. Their mother just happened to forget her credit card and had to go back home. That's when Elizabeth saw the note. Elizabeth did her dance routine for the instructor. Then the teacher announced the winners of the program. Elizabeth won the major role. Jessica became upset.

Within a few minutes, the doll that Elizabeth was to dance with in the part was stolen. What happened to the doll? Who took it and why? Was it Jessica, or was it someone else? You will have to read the book and find out what happens.
