Sweet Valley Twins is an excellent series for young adults. You will enjoy getting to know Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield.
In this first book, Best Friends, Jessica and Elizabeth did everything together. They dressed alike and sat together during their lunch at school, and were best friends. However, something happened to change their relationship. Jessica wanted to join the Unicorns, a club at their middle school. It was for certain students who were initiated and accepted or rejected. These potential members had to do various things such as standing in front of the girls' bathroom and saying the bathroom was flooded, so they had to use the boy's bathroom. Some girls entered the boys' bathroom and some went downstairs. Jessica passed the three tests to join the Unicorns. She also wanted her sister, Elizabeth, to join the Unicorns. Elizabeth had to spoon shaving cream on top of Lois's hot fudge sundae. She refused to do such a mean trick to her friend. Jessica pretended to be Elizabeth and pulled the trick on Lois so Elizabeth would be accepted into the club. Jessica kept this act a secret from Elizabeth. However, Elizabeth found out and was angry with her sister. What was going to happen next? Were the twins going to be separated? Elizabeth didn't want to lose her best friend. What was going to happen to bring them back together again? You will have to read the book to find out. Go To Page: 1
