RAW Report 8/13/01
2) Backstage EDGE and CHRISTIAN make fun of LANCE STORM and JUSTIN CREDIBLE. "Justin Stupidhead" is Christian's suggestion for a better name.
3) TAJIRI d. ALBERT. Big kicks have no effect on Albert, and he press slams Tajiri, following up with a splash for two. Gutwrench powerbomb blocked, and Tajiri hits some big kicks. Albert whacks him and shouts a lot, and tosses Tajiri into the corner. Big "X-Pac sucks" chant, what else is new. Whip to the far side, Albert misses the splash and Tajiri goes for the Tarantula, which X-PAC blocks. COMMISSIONER REGAL drops Pac on the outside. X-Pac tries a kick, but misses, and Tajiri hits the green mist! Back in the ring, Baldobomb is stopped by a stop to the knee by Regal, and Tajiri gets a two count. Tajiri gets caught on the top rope but hits red mist, hits a missile dropkick for the pin! Yes!
4) Backstage MICHAEL COLE wonders if KURT ANGLE will be ok for his match with ROB VAN DAM tonight, and lo and behold, there he is! Kurt accepts the challenge and gets jumped from behind by HUGH MORRUS. Kurt turns the tables and beats Hugh up, finishing with the Anklelock. A BUNCH OF REFEREES break things up as we go to commercial.
5) EDGE/CHRISTIAN d. LANCE STORM/JUSTIN CREDIBLE. Justin Credible is a dorky name, by the way. Great crowd reaction for the kings of offbeat shenanigans. Tie up and kneelift by Christian to start, and a right hand drops Storm. Hot Shot into a flying shoulderblock for a one count. Storm tosses Christian into his corner, but gets an atomic drop for his efforts, but Credible hits a running DDT and turns the tables. Weird powerbomb by Justin gets a two count. Tag back to Storm and he drops some right hands, whip to the ropes reversed and Christian hits a flying leg clothesline. Both men down, and Edge gets the tag in. He pounds on both men, whips Credible into the ropes and accidentally nails Christian, who falls to the floor. Edge tries to tag but Christian's still not there, and he almost gets pinned by Storm. Edge nails an impact DDT on Credible and gets the pin. Storm hits the half crab on Edge after the match, Christian limps to the ring with a chair and chases the bad guys off, but tension is in the air.
