RAW is LIVE in Providence, Rhode Island.
2) A) SPIKE DUDLEY hobbles to the ring to give his "major announcement." Spike's broken leg is the worst thing that could've happened to the guy, cause I was loving the Spike and MOLLY HOLLY angle thus far. He asks Molly to come to the ring, and she does. "Molly, you've heard me say 'I Like you' and you've heard me say 'I really, really like you.' Now I know I'm a Dudley and not a Partridge, but Molly, I think I love you." "Spike, I think I love you too." MICHAEL COLE: "All right!" Spike gives her a rose, and Molly says she's got a present too, but "I can't give it to you here." Spike: "Ladies and gentlemen, good night!" b) PAUL HEYMAN interrupts the lovefest by walking to the ring. First he gets a chair for Spike and says he wants to talk. Big "you suck" chant for Heyman. Paul says "I took you in like a little brother" and that his brothers THE DUDLEY BOYS think it's time for Spike to come back to ECW. But- and this is a big but- Spike won't leave Molly. Paul says Molly would be welcome in ECW with "a little bit of liposuction, a lot of breast enhancement" and Spike threatens to beat him up. c) BUBBA RAY and D'VON drop by and they don't look happy. They blame Spike for stealing the spotlight- they work hard and get their butts work and yet everybody wants to talk about Spike and Molly. D'Von says if people want to talk about Spike and Molly, they'll give em something to talk about and they whack Spike with his own crutch while Heyman screens out Molly. Molly nails him with a low blow and whacks Bubba Ray with a chair, but D'Von grabs her and they set up for a tablebomb. Spike's tied up in the ropes and Bubba drops Molly through the table. Finally SOME REFS untie Spike, but the damage has been done. JR: "If this is a sign of things to come tonight, it could be a long night for the World Wrestling Federation." He doesn't know how right he is! We cut to commercial. 3) Backstage KURT ANGLE tries to figure out how to tell VINCE MCMAHON he's ready to lead Team WWF. "Hmm... I'm going for the gold again... for leadership." Vince asks where STEVE AUSTIN is. Kurt says he's out drinking, but don't worry, he's ready to lead. Vince doesn't care, he wants to find Austin. |
