22) Backstage EDGE and RHYNO talk about which one of them would be the #1 contender after King of the Ring. CHRISTIAN comes in and complains about having to face THE BIG SHOW tonight. "Total conspiriosity," he says. Rhyno says none of them have a chance against KURT ANGLE anyway. We cut to commercial.
23) KURT ANGLE joins us for commentary! Yessss! PAUL HEYMAN gets an autograph!
24) CHRISTIAN d. THE BIG SHOW. Christian jumps Show from behind, and that just didn't work. Huge choke toss, Show off the ropes, Edge grabs his leg and gets pounded for his efforts. Show goes outside and slams Edge into the railing throat-first, Christian runs outside and gets slammed back in. Hey, Show ran toward the corner! He missed, and Christian hits him with punches that don't do much. Show with an inverted atomic drop and a headbutt. Then he steps on Christian just like Andre used to. Christian hits the floor and Show follows him out. Angle gets in Show's face, Show shoves him, and Angle's mad. Show sets up for the chokeslam, Angle distracts the ref, Edge hits Show's knee with a chair, and then a con-chair-to knocks the big guy down and out. Christian rolls over for the easy pin. Show sulks as he walks around and gains his bearings.
25) CHRIS JERICHO/CHRIS BENOIT/SPIKE DUDLEY d. THE DUDLEY BOYS/STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN. Jericho's new entrance is kinda cool. Heyman: "Austin's having an identity crisis… he just needs to be reassured." Ross: "Why don't you give him a hug?" Heyman: "Because I'm afraid of him." BUH BUH RAY shoulderblocks Jericho and hits him with open hand chops, but Jericho fires back with right hands and kicks. Whip to the buckle reversed, Buh Buh charges and Jericho moves, hitting a clothesline to follow up. Buh Buh hits a Hot Shot and tags in D-VON, and they wail on Jericho. Kicks by D-Von and a right hand or two, whip to the ropes, Jericho hits a dropkick and tags Benoit. Right hands by D-Von, another whip and Benoit reverses with a knee to the midsection. Whip to the buckle, reversed, D-Von charges, kick to the face and a snap suplex by Benoit. HUGE chops and a tag to Spike, who drops the big flying step-on onto D-Von.
