RAW Report 6/18/01
STALKER, in a mask riding a motorbike. Who is it? He raises his arms and the lights go on, and he pulls the mask on…. HOLY FREAKING S***!!!! IT'S DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE!!! IT'S DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE!!! THE PLACE IS GOING NUTS!!! "Undertaker… like the Diamond Cutter, you NEVER saw it coming!" Why did he do it? "If you want to make an impact in this business, you go after the biggest, the baddest, the MEANEST dog in the yard. And once you find that dog, if you want to get the very BEST of him, you make it personal… real personal. And then, hey, you find that dogs weakness. Well, Taker, you are obviously that dog. And you've been telling people for years that this ring is your yard. Well, we'll see." Wow. This is one of the best RAW's I've EVER seen. He says he'll see Taker at King of the Ring, and disappears before SOME GUYS IN RED try to throw him out. We cut to commercial.
16) EDGE d. PERRY SATURN. Edge jumps from behind, but Perry nails him with some right hands and an elbow. Whip into the buckle, Edge gets tripped up, Perry goes to the floor and hits Christian, but back in the ring Edge gains the advantage with some punches. Whip to the ropes and a clothesline by Edge for a two count. Whip to the buckle and Perry goes down hard. Perry with some punches, whip to the ropes, Edge with a kick and a clothesline for another two count. Another whip, and a crucifix by Saturn gets two. Edge with a slam and he heads up top. Saturn's back up and he hits a kick to the groin, followed by an overhead belly to belly suplex. Both men are down, Saturn gets up first and hits a big kick and a clothesline. He sends Edge into the buckle chest first, and then heads up top… cross body press gets two. Right hand by Edge, whip is blocked, Saturn with a variation on the fisherman's suplex, Christian makes the save on the near fall. Saturn superkicks Christian on the apron, but Edge hits the spear and gets the win. Good match.
17) Backstage we see a limo, and VINCE MCMAHON gets out wearing a Hawaiian shirt and yellow bloody pants. SOME GUY asks how he's doing, and Vince says not good, he got back
