RAW Report 4/9/01
Boston is 4/9/01, Fleet from the Live Center in RAW. Wow, that didn't write well.
1) Backstage VINCE MCMAHON bumps into JIM ROSS, who got beat up by STONE COLD on Smackdown. Vince makes fun of Ross's bruises and such and then says they should talk to make sure JR is in the right frame of mind to call the show tonight.
2) "ANGRY" KURT ANGLE starts off by reminding us that even though he's not WWF champ anymore, he's an Olympic champion, and that's forever. He demands a title shot tonight. KANE drops by to offer a Hardcore Title shot.
3) KANE v. KURT ANGLE for the Hardcore Title. Nothing fancy with the hardcore garbagey brawl until THE AMAZING COLOSSAL SHOW interferes. He wails on everybody until THE UNDERTAKER shows up. Angle gets out of the way as the brothers hit the ACS with a double chokeslam and a pin.
4) Backstage VINCE and JR are talking and Vince invites STONE COLD to drop by. He makes fun of JR too.
5) Backstage THE AMAZING COLOSSAL SHOW tells KEVIN KELLY that he wants THE UNDERTAKER tonight. Stay tuned for the slowest match ever!
6) Backstage VINCE and AUSTIN show JR their MOVIE of JR getting beat up by AUSTIN. I KNOW I'm using too many CAPITAL LETTERS but there's NOTHING to report HERE that you haven't FIGURED OUT already.
7) RHYNO d. CRASH HOLLY and MOLLY HOLLY in a quick handicap match. In fact, it's pretty much over and I haven't even finished this sentence!
8) Backstage VINCE hogs the camera again- er, tells STEPHANIE he has a bad feeling about this. As if on cue, LINDA MCMAHON shows up in a limo somewhere else backstage.
9) Backstage LINDA MCMAHON walks around, past THE APA and CHYNA (these folks are not together).
10) SPIKE DUDLEY tells MICHAEL COLE that he's lost most of his matches so far in the WWF. X-PAC and HIS LOSER FRIENDS show up and make fun of him, then beat Spike up. Great, now I have X-bloody-Pac to look forward to. Shane, hurry up with that new WCW!
11) COMMISSIONER REGAL tells JONATHAN COACHMAN that even though CHRIS JERICHO and CHRIS BENOIT are sort of friends now, they'll have to fight each other tonight.
12) Backstage THE AMAZING COLOSSAL SHOW walks around.
13) Backstage THE UNDERTAKER beats up AN INVISIBLE GUY WHO DOESN'T SEEM TO MIND
14) THE UNDERTAKER d. THE AMAZING COLOSSAL SHOW. Short match, which is fine by me. ACS goes for a punch in the corner but Taker sort-of powerbombs him for the easy pin.
