RAW Report 3/12/01

1) Backstage KURT ANGLE walks around looking for somebody. Who could it be?

2) THE HARDY BOYS d. X-PAC/JUSTIN CREDIBLE. Huge pop for Team Xtreme, nobody gives a durn about the Clique. X-Pac starts off by trying to bore everybody but the Hardys stop him with a dropkick, slam and elbow drop for a near fall. X-Pac rakes the eyes (oh yeah, JR, huge talent there) and a tag to Justin, who gets beat up by MATT HARDY. Gutwrench suplex (a real one!) for a two count. Matt gets blindsided by Justin after pounding on X-Pac. Pac and Justin drive Matt crotch-first into the ring post and we get a "Lita" chant. Tag to X-Pac back in the ring and he hits his usual annoying stupid loser kicking. Hey, when did X-Pac grow the gut? Bronco Buster for Matt but Justin hits the ring post himself. Hot tag to JEFF HARDY who hits a corkscrew moonsault on X-Pac and Poetry in Motion on Justin. X-Pac tosses Jeff through the ropes right at Lita! Twist of Fate by Matt, Swanton Bomb by Jeff and ALBERT shows up to pull X-Pac out of the ring. Didn't catch why that is, but he helps the two boring losers already wrestling in this match beat up the Hardys.

3) Backstage KURT ANGLE paces back and forth. A limo pulls up, and WILLIAM REGAL's inside. He demands a WWF title rematch against THE ROCK but Regal says "I've got to address the people." Kurt says ok, but make the match already. We cut to commercial.

4) DENNIS HOPPER IS HERE!!! That's cool!

5) Backstage EDDIE GUERRERO tells THE OTHER RADICALS that CHRIS BENOIT is a traitor. SATURN suggests that Eddie drag Benoit around from the back of his lowrider. Eddie: "Where am I supposed to get a rope around here?" Before he gets an answer, Benoit sneak attacks Saturn and slaps on the Crippler Crossface.

6) COMMISSIONER WILLIAM REGAL stops by the ring to show off his black eye- er, note it's the "First official day of the Regal Regime!" He promises to work hard for "my friends the fans," which they don't appreciate. He says it's not time for "kissing bums." JR: "Hear that, Paul?" Heyman: "I guess it's time for me to leave then!" Regal books us the ROCK-ANGLE rematch and begins subtly insulting everybody until CHRIS JERICHO interrupts. The crowd is way hot for Jericho, who tells Regal to shut up.... essentially. Funny segment. We cut to commercial.
