7) CHRIS JERICHO d. EDDIE GUERRERO for the Intercontinental Title. Eddie spit on somebody again! That's two weeks in a row! Benoit's saying less as an announcer than KANE would. Go-behind fest to start, followed by a Jericho armdrag into a wristlock. Eddie tries to kip up but Jericho hits him. Headlock takedown by Jericho and suffice to say a lot more fancy moves (and chops) are going on than I can possibly describe. JR and Heyman keep telling Benoit to talk but he won't. Guerrero works the knee amidst an "Eddie sucks" chant. Hanging Boston Crab by Guerrero is reversed, and Jericho follows up with a flying forearm and a facebuster. Lionsault misses and Eddie gets a cradle for a near fall. Referee Tim White gets knocked out, Jericho tries for a superplex and misses, Eddie misses a frog splash and Benoit gets involved... hitting a swandive headbutt on Guerrero! Jericho hooks the leg for the pin! Wow! Even Jericho can't figure this one out, folks. DEAN MALENKO, PERRY SATURN and TERRI walk out to confront Benoit, but he smiles and walks away.
8) Backstage THE HARDY BOYS are talking about something but MATT puts a halt to it when LITA announces that it's time for her title match. We cut to commercial.
9) Backstage AL SNOW and SOME MIDGETS sing "Hi ho, hi ho, we want Commissioner Snow!" The less said the better!
10) IVORY d. LITA for the Women's Title. Huge heel pop for the RTC. Lita backs the champ into the ropes, but Ivory spins her into the corner and chokes. Rollup by Lita gets two. Spear by Lita and she pounds on Ivory with right hands. Russian legsweep gets a two count. Twist of Fate is blocked and Ivory slaps the challenger, following it up with a sidewalk slam for two. A choke on the second rope, but Ivory gets dumped over the top and to the floor. Lita with a splash onto the floor, and THE HARDYS fight THE RTC to buy the wrestlers some time. JEFF HARDY tries to hit VAL VENIS but Val moves and he spears Lita instead. Back in the ring, Ivory nails a neckbreaker and this one's over. Tension mounts between the brothers Hardy, though Lita doesn't hold a grudge against Jeff.
11) Backstage KEVIN KELLY demands that KURT ANGLE justify his actions against SCOTTY 2 HOTTY. Kurt said it was "tremendous" that he may have broke Scotty's ankle. He's also tired of being "everybody's whipping boy" and that in his opinion they better "get the ambulance ready" for tonight's main event.
