RAW Report 2/12/01

1) a) TRIPLE H and STEPHANIE MCMAHON-HELMSLEY hit the ring. One more time: ditch the vest, H, it looks terrible. H's new theme music is by MOTORHEAD, if you didn't know. H starts talking and somebody holds up a sign that says "SHUT UP." We learn that ROCK will face RIKISHI in a special match. If Rock wins, HHH gets to pick the stipulations for his No Way Out match with STONE COLD; if Rikishi wins, Austin gets to pick. H says he's just as confused as the idiots here in New Jersey- why oh why did VINCE MCMAHON pick the Rock to represent H in this match? Lukewarm response to Austin's name, much bigger response for Rock. H says his choice of stips for the H-Austin match are "mind boggling." He tells the Rock to "get the job done" and "do not- I repeat- do not do anything stupid."

b) THE ROCK walks the four feet from the curtain to the top of the ramp with microphone in hand. He doesn't care about the stipulations for the match, because he's more interested in his title match against KURT ANGLE. He makes a number of jokes at Stephanie's expense, and she looks suitably upset. He sets his own stipulations: either H shuts his mouth and Rock goes back to prep for his match, or he keeps talking and Rock beats him up. Stephanie: "Wait a minute Rock!" Rock: "Okay, stipulation #2 it is!" and he walks toward the ring.

c) RIKISHI hits the ring. "Now I'm really confused," he says. But he seems to understand all the jokes he makes about running Austin over.

d) STONE COLD comes to the ring. Wow, none of the top stars had to "arrive" late tonight! He flips the finger to H and calls Rikishi a "funny little diaper-wearing son-of-a-b****" which is pretty funny. He tells Rikishi to get the job done so that he can give him a beer and then beat him up. H says that in case Austin gets lonely, he'll sit next to him at ringside. Then he tells Rock to "know his damn role" and win the match, which gets him a right hand. H and Rikishi jump him, Austin tries to interfere but gets superkicked by Rikishi. We cut to commercial.

2) CHRIS JERICHO d. EDDIE GUERRERO by DQ for the Intercontinental Title. Wow, Eddie spit on somebody on his way to the ring! Series of tieups, with Eddie getting a cheap right hand to gain the advantage, Jericho tries some reversals but more cheap shots by Eddie put Jericho in the ropes. Belly to back suplex followed by an armbar submission. Vertical suplex and Eddie heads to the top rope, but Jericho counters with a superplex. Both men slow to get up, Jericho with right hands and a flying forearm. Whip into the corner but Eddie with an elbow, but Jericho hits a Hot Shot into the buckle and a facebuster. Lionsault but Guerrero with the knees up and we have an "Eddie sucks" chant. Eddie with a flying headscissors- no, the Walls of Jericho! Eddie's about to tap- NO!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, IT'S X-PAC!!! NO NO NO NO NO!!! He beats on Jericho for a little bit and fondles his crotch to his lame theme music. Bo-ring... bo-ring...
