1) CHRIS JERICHO d. MATT HARDY for the Intercontinental Title. DEAN MALENKO is on hand to see LITA up close and personal. JR says "He thinks he's James Bond or something." Jericho with a hammerlock, but Matt dumps him through the ropes a la Bret Hart. Y2J with chops on the outside and a suplex to the floor. Flying elbow by Jericho gets a two count. Irish whip followed by a clothesline, and a backbreaker gets two. Jericho sets up for a superplex and we get a "Lita" chant. Matt blocks the superplex, tosses Jericho down and hits a flying clothesline for two. Right hands by Matt, Irish whip and a clothesline by Matt before he takes off his shirt! Drops a flying leg and gets a near fall, and now Dean-o is on his way to the ring. Matt gets crotched on the top rope, but while the ref's back is turned, Lita hits the flying headscissors and Matt gets a very near fall. Twist of Fate is blocked and Jericho dumps Matt over the top rope, where Dean shoves Matt into Lita and then back into the ring. Jericho hits a facebuster, followed by a Lionsault and we have a three count. A Jericho heel turn in the making? Dean looks at Lita lecherously- is that a word?- but Matt gets in his face. PERRY SATURN comes to make it two on one, but Jericho comes to Matt's aid and scares them away. As he rolls in the ring, EDDIE GUERRERO shows up and beats the tar out of Jericho, dropping a flying fist on his face with the belt on top. Eddie's hair looks dyed brown (or not dyed black?) and thus really weird, sort of like Rick Rude or Manny Fernandez when they were in World Class.
2) Backstage KEVIN KELLY tries to interview THE ROCK but gets shoved aside. Why do they even try? We cut to commercial.
3) a) Not only did THE ROCK show up on time tonight, he's heading right to the ring instead of walking around for seemingly 90 minutes. Rock has his sunglasses on which apparently means he's upset. Rock says that he understands why STONE COLD screwed TRIPLE H in the WWF Title match on Smackdown, but that when he did that he also screwed the Rock. With that said, it's Triple H's fault? He challenges H to a #1 contenders match and says bring "that hood-rat trick you call a wife" to the ring too.
