Here are yet more writing prompts to play with:
* Imagine the person that you resent the most working at the job of your dreams. What would it be like to be their employee, or a position under them? Write a dialogue between the two co-workers (resented person, and character representing yourself). The setting is in the chosen workplace. * Complete a character sketch on a character that you have been thinking about, or use one that you have already completed for this exercise. The chosen character decides that they want to purchase a pet. They go to the local petshop and begin to browse. A clerk asks them if they need assistance. Your character finds themselves oddly attracted to the clerk. The character asks the clerk to recommend a pet to them. Describe this scene vividly with dialogue. What happens next? * Georgette is remodeling her home. She is single, and she owns a local coffee shop. In a telephone conversation she describes the remodeling and her house to a cousin who has never seen the home. Write this dialgoue. * Lenville is very proud of his daughter who has just graduated with honors from her high school. Now, he feels she is old enough to learn about a secret he has been witholding from her nearly all of her life. What is this secret? When and how does he tell her?
