Celebrate the Small Things
reject manuscripts. Most of the time it's because they just don't know if yours will sell. Many an editor has kicked himself for passing on authors who later became big names. For the author it was simply wrong place, wrong time. For the editor, it was poor judgement.
Today, my short story "Petroglyphs" appeared in Far Sector SFFH. Why, after six tries, did this story finally sell? It's hard to say, but persistence certainly helped.
