Writing Novels or Short Stories?

Are Short Stories the Perfect Medium for the Internet? is one of my favorites. Givens discusses the viability of the short story. For so mamy years, short story markets have been shrinking. Now, with new e-zines popping up every day, is that changing for the better? And had the quality suffered?

Like most of the topics in Books and Writing, these two complement the offerings of other contributing editors, covering many aspects of the writing life. I still have so many topics to cover, I'm not sure where I'll go next time. Until then, keep writing!
