Did your college dorm room have that "Architectural Digest" look while the rest of your classmates' digs were more "Animal House?" Do you have a knack for creating a functional and fashionable living space, no matter what kind of budget you have to work with? Well, guess what? A lot of people out there would like to pay you for your help.

Your potential customers might be overworked business types who want the magazine-beautiful home but simply haven't got the time to put it together themselves. Or they might know that brown corduroy loveseat and that wagon-wheel coffee table have got to go but have no idea what sort of furnishings should take their places.

It goes without saying that you should have a flair for color and style but good people skills are also important. Remember, you have a great potential for repeat business because home fashions will keep changing.
