Career Magazine - "Every day CareerMagazine downloads and indexes all of the job postings from the major Internet jobs newsgroups." Scroll down the page, and where it says "keywords," enter in "telecommute." There were five jobs listed here Apr. 11, 1998 - and none of them were "Business Opportunities."

Deja News - The title explains itself - find newsgroup postings that are pertinent to your search. A word to the warning, however - a search for "Work at Home" will get you thousands of postings, all relatively the same. (Make $1,000 a day!) Instead, sign up for the free service, where you can filter what you want out. Especially helpul was the search function, which you can use to find both individual keywords and newsgroup listings. (And another word of warning: when you do a newsgroup search, try not to have the older kids around. My search for "Work at Home Mom" came back with the highest rated group as being X rated!)

Alternative Work Environments, Incorporated - The following jobs were posted: business process specialist, technology specialist, program implementation manager, and distributed workforce solutions manager. (link updated 10/03/98)

Canadiana Group Career Opportunites - Sales positions in select communities in Canada.

Washingtonpost.com - Online editors and producers wanted.

Business Edge Internet Design, Inc. - Professional sales position. This page states that this position is perfect for a work-at-home mom. New Orleans area only, as there is some need to travel to various clients places of business.

BuildWealth.com - Sell health care benefits to small business, entrepreneurs, and home based business people. I am not sure if this is a business opportunity, or an employment opportunity, but this site does look interesting. A little slow to load (graphics heavy), and you have to follow their path to find out all of the details - which takes time (which I just did not have - after the fifth page, I gave up). When I clicked on "Get Started Now," instead of the information that I was looking for, I received a detailed form to fill out.

Telecommuting Jobs - A small databse of telecommuting jobs, much like an employment database. However, most of the jobs listed here are so old that the links are non-existent. (note: 10/02/98 this seems to be updated failry regularly now; just make sure
