finally choosing to give out newborn sized socks as my free item, with the offer of a free catalog and baby shower party to boot, I have had numerous phone calls, e-mails and snail mail for product and information requests, as well as catalog orders. I have even been contacted by three separate people who are now considering joining me in becoming business owners themselves! All this, in only two months.

Of course, the Welcome Wagon is not the only advertising or publicity campaigns that you, the home based business owner, should be a part of. To put all of your eggs in one basket would be silly, as well as unrealistic. But as a piece of the puzzle that will take you down the road to success, the Welcome Wagon is a resource that no home based business should be without.
