(9) Do not operate your tools when you're tired or while under the influence of alcohol.

(10) Never leave your power tools plugged in and left unattended. If your tool comes equipped with a key, remove and store it. Children are especially vulnerable as their curiosity with unattended tools can be an accident waiting to happen. Think safety not just for you but for others as well.

These are just some of the safety rules you should follow. Your operating manuals will have others listed pertaining to the operation of the individual tool so make sure to read them and follow their recommended procedures.
