Mauresmo has the ability to come to net and pressure her opponent and it might be a good play for her to attack Williams's second serve in this way. It will not only take the challenge to Venus but put pressure on a fairly technically unsound shot.

I'm still not convinced Mauresmo believes she can beat Williams, despite the fact she has played Venus close on the last few occasions. There is too much respect for Williams's power and quite clearly, Venus has the all important mental edge in this encounter. I think that will eventually be the factor that takes her through to another final.

I say V. WILLIAMS beats MAURESMO 6-3 2-6 6-3.
