Lindsay: 3
Lindsay may not be as versatile, given her lack of foot speed, and is a much better player in attack than in defence, but given the power she possesses and her ability to take the ball on the first strike, versatility is not something Lindsay needs to employ too much of. Still, she is very competent at the net, and can throw in the backhand slice for change of pace at times. She can also hit some blazing winners from a lot of different looks at the ball from anywhere on the court to any part of the opposite court.

HEART & DETERMINATION
Martina
: 5
Martina wants this title and she will fight for it until the bitter end. She is incredibly proud and competitive and is constantly looking to prove her status as the reigning world #1. More than anything, she is searching for Grand Slam titles and there is no better opportunity to do so than here in Melbourne
Lindsay: 5
Now that Lindsay believes more in herself, she is very confident about her chances of winning the title and desires this title as much as anything else in the world. She will fight for this title until the bitter end. Many believe she is too nice, but underneath it all, Lindsay is as fiercely competitive and determined as the next player.
