NWFL To Hold More Try-Outs

The National Women's Football League (NWFL) will be holding try-outs for its Baltimore and Washington D.C. teams on December 16 in Baltimore.

The wome athletes wishing to play professional football will be tested on agility, strength and speed at the try-outs which will begin at 8:00 a.m. and run until 5:00 p.m. The tryout clinic will be held at Catonsville Community Park. Directions to the park are as follows: 695 to exit 15 (West Baltimore National Pike-Ellicott City) Left at second light, Rolling Road South. Another left at second right to entrance of park. The tryout clinic will be held at the lower field behind the Senior Center building.

In addition to try-outs for the athletes, the league will be holding try-outs for coaches, announcers and other field and game day staff.

Athletes are asked to bring a towel, water and should dress in comfortable clothing and shoes. There is a $35 league try-out fee which can be paid by pre-registering or on the day of the event. To pre-register, call (800) 927-8155.
