The Regal by Buick WNBA Tour wrapped up in New Orleans on Wednesday with the West toppling the East 96-74. The West dominated inside with Yolanda Griffith's 20 points, going 7-of-10 from the field and 6-of-7 from the stripe. Lisa Leslie contributed 17 points and 8 boards. Ruthie Bolton-Holifield continued her great shooting, adding 13 points, including 3-of-5 from three-point range. The East did its best to keep up with the West. Vicky Bullet tallied 26 points and went 4-of-6 from behind the arc. Shannon "Pee Wee" Johnson racked up 11 points and helped run the East's offense. The West showed off its versatility, which has been its key in the three of four victories during the tour. Natalie Williams helped Griffith and Leslie in the paint. Sonja Henning and Jennifer Azzi ran the offense and each had four assists. The West dominated offensively and defensively inside. The West outrebounded the East 53-35 and 26 were offensive boards. The East did have some glimpses of offensive power. Merlakia Jones opened up a 13-2 run to begin the second half but the West stepped up and came back on fire. Nykesha Sales of the East and the West's DeLisha Milton made the highlight reel with fantastic moves to the hoop. The East won game one of the tour but the West came back to win the next three.
