WUSA Reveals Team Names and Logos


The Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) announced the team names and logos this morning at a press conference at the league offices in New York.

The team names are: Atlanta Beat, Bay Area CyberRays, Boston Breakers, Carolina Tempest, New York Power, Philadelphia Charge, San Diego Spirit and Washington Freedom. Press kits for each team are available for download on the league's website at www.wusaleague.com.

In other WUSA news, the league has signed Johnson and Johnson as the Official Healthcare Provider for the WUSA.

Finally, the Bay Area CyberRays, Boston Breakers, Philadelphia Charge and the Washington Freedom have websites up and running. Check the soccer links section for the URLs.
