One of the best aspects of sports is the unexpected, both good and bad. The Australian fans love to root for the underdog and they certainly had a lot to cheer about at these Olympic Games. They also cheer on the athletes who put forth great effort whether they win or lose. This is the true spirit of competition and sport. Don't we wish all sports could be like this.
