Daddy's Little GirlOf course, all of this isn't to say that women can't have wonderful relationships with their fathers. I will admit that I'm envious of any woman who has a strong relationship with her father. It is those women who will most likely grow up and have perfectly healthy relationships with men. Women who are close to their fathers are also more likely to feel secure in their relationships with other men. After all, your father sets the first example of how a man should act. If he raises you in a responsible matter, than you grow up believing that men can be responsible and loving people. Father's Day is the chance for us all to take the time and look at the relationship that we have with our father. For some of us, that relationship may be non-existent. For others, it is a strong one that has grown from years of love and affection. If you are part of that second group of women, feel lucky and be sure to give your daddy a big hug and thanks for what he has given you. Got a suggestion for a future article or have any questions?
