If you are going on holiday, see if your holiday destination has any places that would be of interest to your child, as well as informational and fun. Remember, it's the summer, it shouldn't seem like school, it should be fun above all else!

Whether you are staying in your own backyard, or venturing further afield with your child this summer, take the opportunity to light that history spark - you never know where it might end, and like the one my mother lit, it might burn with an everlasting flame.
