Of course, it is a good idea to take a good multivitamin and mineral supplement. These will help promote energy and improve general body health.

Magnesium, at 400 mg per day, may help stabilize the enzymes which promote energy within the cells. This also tends to increase the energy level.

A supplement I've found, which I cannot do without, is KWIK ENERGY by Universal Nutrition in New Brunswick, NJ. I discovered this product when I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia after months of hardly being able to get from the couch to the bathroom and back again. KWIK ENERGY has given me the strength to at least get around the house easier. It's been a tremendous boost to my energy level.

What are the ingredients? Ma Huang, Spirulina, Royal Jelly, Inosine, African Kola Nut, Lipoic Acid, Octacosanol, Bee Pollen (which I used to take for years), Ginseng, Goldenseal, Quercetin, Guarana, Vitamin E, PAK, Cayenne and Cytochrome C. This company has a web site at: http://www.universal-zone.com.

One KWIK ENERGY per day has been very beneficial for both my husband and I, and we use it on a regular basis. Another supplement I've found to be very beneficial for my Fibromyalgia is made by Mannatech. Their web site is: http://www.mannatech.com. If you visit and are asked for a referral number, please enter: #518966. I've tried to find these ingredients in other products with no success. After taking Ambrotose and PhytAloe for two months, I have felt so much better it is absolutely amazing!

I can now go grocery shopping and on occasional outings with my husband! It's been wonderful to feel alive again after nearly a year of barely being able to move. But I'll write more about Fibromyalgia in next week's article. I do hope you'll come back and check it out!
