Is There a Real "Fountain of Youth"?

For centuries humans have searched for the fabled "Fountain of Youth" without much success. Now, in these days of advanced technology and discovery, it seems the "Fountain of Youth" has been within us all along. All of us start out with a bountiful supply of the "secret of youth" but as we age, this supply diminishes, as evidenced by numerous signs and symptoms of aging.

Our youthfulness and vigor slowly disintegrates into increased tiredness; deeper, more numerous wrinkles on the face and body; more fat and less muscle; loose, rough, discolored skin; more symptoms of pain and weakness and general feelings of ill health. These are symptoms of natural aging and thus the cause of the eternal search for renewed youth and vigor.

So what is this internal "Fountain of Youth"? HGH, the Human Growth Hormone, is a naturally occurring substance in the human body and is secreted by the pituitary gland. This gland is known as the 'master gland' of the body and is located in the endocrine system. According to Dr. Lawrence E. Dorman, most doctors who attended the Anti-Aging Conference view HGH as one of the most exciting advancements in reversing the disease process of 'aging' since the discovery of DHEA.

HGH was first isolated in 1956 and its structure wasn't identified until 1972. Until the mid-80's, the only source of HGH was from pituitary glands collected postmortem. Today this sought-after hormone is available in larger quantities thanks to the technique of genetic engineering.

HGH was previously available by injection only and at such a substantial cost that only the wealthy have been able to afford it. Injections can cost between $4000 and $20,000 a year. It has been used in Europe and the United States with gratifying results for about 15 years.

Now, thanks to DNA research and improved methods of HGH production, this key to restoring youth can be purchased in various, more affordable forms and is thus available to a much wider segment of the population.

In 1994, Dr. Edmund Chein, medical director of the Palm Springs Life Extension Institute, became the first doctor in the US to openly offer HGH replacement therapy. He claims a 100% success rate for his brand of hormone therapy and more information can be found on his web site at: http://www.hgh-growth-hormone.com/.

The benefits of HGH therapy are many and can be found in the book, Hormones of Youth, by Dr. Ronald M. Klatz. Numerous ways are outlined on how HGH therapy may prevent, or actually reverse, many of the most common diseases and conditions associated with aging.
