The DiscoveryI quietly went up the circular stairway and as I opened a closed door, there was a quiet rushing sound and noises, like little animals skittering around. In the corner was a crooked little tree and I saw a number eyes starring at me. I felt only curious, as I made my way over to the tree. Sitting on a limb was the cutest, furry little animal I'd ever seen. Its eyes were full of compassion and it seemed almost to speak. I could tell it wouldn't hurt me and I picked it up in my arms. As I looked around, I was amazed. There was a little village built on a tabletop, the type you might see at Christmas time. There were all kinds of little creatures running to and fro, and driving little vehicles around. Just then Judy came into the room. "I told you not to open any doors. Now we have a problem." "What is all this... and... this?" I asked holding up the animal in my arms. "If I tell you, you'll have to promise not to tell anyone... no one at all, understand?" "No one would believe me anyway.... but, yes... I promise." Judy said these creatures were from another galaxy. They had been here for several years and in exchange for keeping their presence a secret, they'd shared their advances in medicine and technology. They had developed the new filming system and only the "organization" would benefit from this knowledge. "It's all so amazing... unbelievable...." "I know, but we must keep it secret, at least for a while. Just imagine what some would do with them! It would be tragic. By keeping them here, we're protecting them." "I understand." I trembled. "I won't breathe a word to anyone." "Good... now it's time for us to get some sleep." She gave me medication and I was out for the night. When I woke, I was back in room 306. Breakfast was brought in and then I was taken to x-ray. I had tried to get out of bed and they had to make sure I hadn't damaged my back. Before I knew what was happening, I was back in the room and it felt like it was moving. I heard a soft rumbling sound and the room seemed to slowly rotate. Once again I was up against the wall on the bed and I could see camera lenses cleverly hidden. When the room finally stopped, I was wheeled out into the hall and fell asleep as the walls passed.
