Can you imagine an army going out to fight an evil force, without adequate weapons of protection? It wouldn't be very smart. Going into battle unarmed and unprotected would be like asking to be killed, which in a way might be considered a form of suicide.
This type of diet, coupled with other types of air-polluting agents, are filling our blood and organs with an overload of free radicals, which just like the radical fringes of society, are causing havoc wherever they go. Even the prescribed medications we take on the advice of our doctors are substances that would be very toxic to the human body if taken in large quantities. These drugs can also add to the build-up of free radicals, which are releasing poisons into the blood and other systems. Once there, they can systematically attack our vital organs. As a result of this internal, ongoing attack, we may experience frequent colds, viruses and infections. Susceptibility to illness and disease is increased as our immune system grows weak from the constant barrage of these poisons. A lowered tolerance of the body's immune system can manifest itself as irritability, depression, chronic fatigue, insomnia and a great number of serious conditions, even cancer. So, what can we do? Why not go natural. Actually, this so-called alternative to traditional medical care is in fact the original way. Herbs have been here on earth from the very beginning and now, finally, medical doctors are beginning to take a look at these helpful alternatives. Natural methods are concerned with maintaining health and in treating the whole system, not just with trying to cure a disease or mask symptoms. We're frustrated with the orthodox medical communities failure to cure the growing epidemics of allergies, arthritis, cancer, chronic fatigue and illnesses resulting from the contaminated environment and processed foods. We're witnessing a rise in lupus and viruses have become highly resistant to available common antibiotics. One of the best known herbal remedies that has come down to us from the past is garlic. It has long been surrounded with a healing lore. Finally, research has been able to confirm it's potent ability to favorably affect so many bodily functions and reduce susceptibility to illness.
