Linda Tripp Plays Cover Girl

Right now, it's only a few hours away from a new year and a whole slew of resolutions. Lose a few pounds, play nice with others, try your hardest not to start a national scandal... However farfetched these resolutions are, for one person, she's well on her way to facing a new year with a whole new self. That person? The ever-loveable Linda Tripp.

To kick off the new millenium, George magazine has Ms. Tripp as its cover girl, with her new svelte body and surgically reconstructed face, many an unsuspecting soul will think the latest movie star is staring from the glossy magazine's cover. Inside, there is an eight-page spread on the post-Lewinsky/Clinton/Starr snitch known around the world. It is interesting to note, nonetheless, that there are no pictures of the less-than-attractive Tripp that John Goodman immortalized on Saturday Night Live. Maybe the publisher thought her pre-op face would not have sold the magazine.

Supposedly, Tripp granted the interview with George because of its unbiased point of view. An interesting idea, considering it was founded by John F. Kennedy, Jr., one of the most predominant Democrats of all time. Pick up this issue as a keepsake of what she looks like now--before the inevitable weight gain and black roots start showing up again.
