Stomping Huevos and Why it Heals People© Rain Redknife
Here's a healing or dehexing spell, borrowed and slightly retooled from Santeria but done within a Wiccan-style circle, that works even on quite severe situations.
Anyway, here's what you do: Go to the sick person's house. If s/he can do so, have her provide you with two raw eggs and a little shortening; if s/he's too poor, bring them yourself, and let h/er buy them from you with a penny or a strand of h/er hair to make them h/ers. Light coconut incense if you have some. First, invoke Elegua, the Road-Opener, and spare a moment of respect and thanks for your ancestors. A good traditional offering is a dish of clean water, a few coins and a lit white candle, set on the bathroom floor or in the tub overnight, perhaps accompanied by some hard candies. For safety in a household with cats, I generally set the candle and coins in the water-dish. If you don't have those things, just ask His help and greet your ancestors with respect and thanks. Get the person to be healed to ground h/erself. Cast a quick circle and invoke as many of the other Orishas as you're on good terms with. This is NOT purely secular mind-magick; I mean, it could be done that way, but the power difference with the Orishas' help is in my experience quite staggering. Coat the eggs well with shortening. Santeros use _manteca de corojo_, a thick palm oil, but Crisco works fine. Put the eggs in a paper bag and close the top. Empower the eggs to draw out of the sick person and into themselves the forces making h/er ill. Raise power; danceable drumming or any drum-heavy Afro-Latin recorded music is great here. Run the bag repeatedly over the body and through the aura of the person to be healed, concentrating on the areas most in need (go where the cause is, if you know, not just where the symptoms are), but going pretty much all over at least once. You will see/feel the bad stuff being pulled out into the eggs--the effect is quite striking, even if you're used to "pull-out" healing--and it will be pretty clear when the job is finished.
