Distance Healing Method

Short of hopping a plane to California, what could I do to help a dear friend from a favorite mailing list? She had been ill for several months, none of us realizing how ill until a post to the list - she had been diagnosed with AML, a particularly deadly form of Leukemia.

My heart went out to her, my inner cries to Diancecht fell on deaf ears, or so I felt at the time. Time for more effective measures.

As most of my constant readers will know, I combine methods when at all possible, to boost effectiveness, and to give the energy body of the recipient a choice in energy accepted. This is especially effective when sending these energies long distance. Combining Reiki, Golden Triangle and simple candle spells is like having a large cup of Espresso first thing on Monday morning.

Using the methods I employed for my friend (I'll use E. from now on) in California as an example, I'm presenting only one of many, many ways to send energy distantly; this method is generic enough that it can be used to send energy of any positive sort, not just for healing.

First off, I gathered all the candles I would need for a week's worth of energy transfer. These were placed on my altar, where the remnants of a previous candle working for the same person sat waiting. Over night, I placed a cloth with the Reiki symbol, Cho-Ku-Rei, and the Master symbol embroidered on it. I kept in mind at all times that I was charging the candles with Reiki energy, to be released upon burning. The next day, I placed a triangle of golden material over the candles, charging them further with Isis' Golden Triangle energy. At this point I meditated, sending the same energy from my GT center at my Third Eye Chakra, directly to E. After an hour, give or take a few minutes, I left the candles to charge.

The next day, I began the directed distance healing. Each day for seven days I lit a white candle from the pile of charged candles, visualising and focusing on E., and carefully, slowly, directing the energy to her. In my visualisation, she is sitting on her hospital bed, eyes closed, relaxing and allowing the energy to fill her aura. Because of the type of disease we're dealing with here, the aura will soak up the energy and release it for healing at various points, rather than a single area.
