I would like to make sure that all women feel safe to post there questions and to talk with confidence to other readers here. Many people would like to make sure that they are anonymous when writing, posting and replying to discussions. One of the easiest ways to ensure your anonymity is to sign up with a separate email address and to take another nickname or 'nichhandle'. That way no-one including myself will ever know who you are. The nickname you choose to provide will give you an identity and if you think about it - it can be any identity you like. So...if you would like to present yourself as an encouraging friend to the female alcoholic, why not create an interesting, bright, colourful flower oriented signature tag. If you are depressed and unable to cope with early stages of recovery maybe the making of a happy identity could cheer you up and help you write with hope and a positive outlook. If serenity is what you are after perhaps a "Jonathon Livingstone Seagull" type animation would do the trick. Any way the point is that you can present the image you would like to present and find yourself amongst friends who will not poke or pry!
