They spent more than a month with the pack and it helped them a lot to understand the behavior of the wolves. They observed every single move of the pack. They were five in number and they were baring all the hardships in studying the behavior of the wolf. They moved from place to place with the pack. They took some photographs and captured some fascinating video clips. They told me a very amazing story about the pack. They told me that the alpha female of the pack had two pups. On one evening, one of the pups got separated from the pack. They decided to split up and observe the pack and the pup. They did not help the pup, as they did not want to interrupt the natural process. They decided to keep in touch via wireless. The pup, at first, did not realized but later it realized that there is no one by its side. It wandered around to search for someone it owns but it was in vain. That night it rained a lot. The pup spent the whole night under a broken tree and it never slept. Its eyes were looking for some familiar faces. They told me that it was a scene worth seen. Its face reflected the same expression observed on a human's face, who has lost someone very dear. The next morning, it walked out mourning and wandered in the near area to look for someone of its pack. In the afternoon, the pup felt hunger and it started searching for some food that can kill its hunger for sometime. Wandering around, it found a free female wolf, which was finishing with its prey. The pup came near it. It was a dangerous move, as a wolf cannot bare intruder in its territory. The female wolf, at first, ignored the pup but later it started showing its anger. The pup, getting a poor response, turned back and it started walking towards an unknown destiny. On the other side, the pup's pack forgot it, after searching for it for sometime. The pack carried on its normal routine. This showed that the absence of one pup or wolf in a pack never effects a pack's activities. On the other hand, the lost pup finds it difficult to survive and it fights for its life, with its life. The story ended dramatically. The pup, while wandering, struck with its pack. The whole group of researcher also met there. They then traced the whole route of the pack and the pup. They were amazed to see that the two parties departed in opposite sides and they finally met back after 11 days. Go To Page: 1 2
