The Green Bay Packers


Green Bay has the second most players featured in the Hall of Fame. Twenty players who spent the majority of their careers in Green Bay are featured in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Five other Hall of Fame players on display played briefly for the Packers. Among the names which have gained national recognition from their time in Green Bay are such greats as coaches Lambeau and Vince Lombardi; players from the early years - Arnie Herber, Clarke Hinkle, Cal Hubbard, John (Blood) McNally, Mike Michalske and Tony Canadeo; from the 1960s - Jim Taylor, Forrest Gregg, Bart Starr, Ray Nitschke, Herb Adderley, Willie Davis, Jim Ringo, Paul Hornung, Willie Wood and Henry Jordan. In 2003, wide receiver James Lofton, who starred for the Packers from 1978 to 1986, was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

If you are visiting Green Bay don't miss the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame. In 1967 they were the first team to open a hall of fame and museum. Over 130 players, coaches, staff members, and contributors have been inducted into the new Packers Hall of Fame.

While there, take a tour of Lambeau Field. You can visit the new Lambeau Field Atrium everyday of the week. There you will have access to the new Packers Hall of Fame, Curly's Pub, Stadium tours, and the two-story Packers Pro Shop.
