Family Fun at Wisconsin Dells

For the younger children there are Story Book Gardens, miniature golf, Wiley's Woods (a 20,000 Square-Foot Family-interactive Play Experience), or the Timberland Playhouse (an interactive playhouse - for guests only) at The Wilderness Resort. Each of the bigger water parks, such as Noah's Ark and Family Land, have special kiddie areas.

Safety Tips
• Do not chew gum or eat while you swim or go on rides; you could easily choke.
• Do not dress children in clothes that have strings that can cause strangulation.
• Keep very young children's skin from being exposed to the sun.
• Wear appropriate sun screens--a sunscreen rating of 15 should give adequate protection and is sufficient for most people.
• Drink plenty of water, but avoid consuming alcoholic beverages on hot, humid days when you are outside. Alcohol can cause dehydration.
• If you become overheated, sit in the shade, drink plenty of water and try to keep your skin cool and moist.
• Make sure children know the full names of their parents.
• Amusement parks and water parks are large. Let children know what to do and where to go if they become separated.
