How fast is your internet connection?
It's surprisingly difficult to tell. Dial-Up Networking can be persuaded
to give you the initial connection rate, if you know the secret (right-click
on the DUN icon in your system tray and select Status), but it's isn't
always correct. And even when it is, it displays the speed that applied
when you first connected to the Internet from your ISP. The actual data
- transfer rate can vary over time.
