Bloodroot; a Bloody Good Poppy


Bloodroot
Bloodroot has had a variety of folk names over the years. These include Large-leaved Bloodwort, Puccoon, Red Indian Paint and Redroot. I think "Bloodroot" fits it best. And if those pure white flowers aren't colorful enough for you, there's always the "blood".
